Robert Home is Emeritus Professor in Land Management at Anglia Ruskin University, UK. He holds a PhD in Geography from the London School of Economics), a Master's in History from Cambridge University, and a Diploma in Town Planning from Oxford Brookes University (also member of the Royal Town Planning Institute). He has published books and articles on law and urban development, undertaken many research consultancies in Africa, and supervised or examined over fifty PhDs.
Abstract
The book review is of three new titles dealing with the Benin expedition of 1897 that looted the city, and the growing movement to return Benin cultural objects to Nigeria.
